DM Systems has more experience than any other company in providing software for the business operations of magazine publishers.
David Webber, DM Systems' President, developed the first ever magazine publishing/circulation model in 1970 and the first commercially available advertising information system in 1975. He, Mary Staples and Jim Kobak founded KBM, the company that revolutionized the use of computers in the magazine business office in the 1970's and 1980's.
In 1993 Circulation Management Magazine said:
... a state-of-the-art piece of software that takes the art of circulation modeling into the 90’s. This system is a must for review |
and we have continued to enhance it to keep up with changes in the magazine business and make it ever more powerful.
The MPMW is used by hundreds of magazines - monthly, weekly, daily, national, regional.
We are proud that some have been using it, and its time-sharing-based predecessor, since the 1970's, a testament to our commitment to support and customer service.
